Biometrics Institute Member Meetings
They are designed to bring together organisations in each state to discuss topical issues in a boardroom setting.
Format: There are 3 meetings in NSW, VIC, ACT, QLD and Wellington (NZ) each year. Please review the calendar for regular updates. The meetings are approximately 2 hours long and consist of one or two speakers presenting on a topic of their choice. They are a great member benefit to expose expertise and raise the profile to other members.
Audience: Open to all members and attended by 10 - 30 people. Participation and discussion in the group is interactive.
Fee: It is free of charge for Biometrics Institute members. Non-member can attend at a fee.

Biometrics Institute Government Special Interest Group (SIG) Meetings
The biometrics Institute has been organising the Biometrics in Government SIG since 2001.
Format: Government SIGs are similar in format to the Member Meetings. It is a 1.5 - 2 hour meeting with 1-2 speakers who are Government employees.
Audience: The Government SIGs are exclusive to government employees.
Fee: It is free of charge to Government members. Government employees who are non-members can attend but will be charged a fee for attendance.

Speaking at or hosting a meeting is a great way of raising your organisations profile.
